Securities & Trading Technology, founded in 1985, is an independent privately-owned South Africa-based Company specialising in the development of leading financial market software solutions. Our core products cover exchange solutions, trading systems, custodian solutions, central depository solutions, risk management and back office management systems to customised financial solutions in order to meet any of our client’s needs.

Since 1985, STT has grown its solutions to offer a wide variety of systems across the globe; in Africa, Caribbean and Europe. The STT group is comprised of several companies including STT (South Africa), STT TradeClear and STT (Mauritius)

STT has been the provider of IT solutions to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) for the past 27 years, SA Reserve Bank and more recently WFE (The World Federation of Exchanges), NSE (Nairobi Securities Exchange), DSE (Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange), USE (Uganda Securities Exchange), NSX (Namibia Stock Exchange), TTSE (Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange), LuSE (Lusaka Stock Exchange), SEM (the Stock Exchange of Mauritius) & FMDQ OTC Exchange (Nigeria)
