Kenny, Pat

(AFM Chairman)


Patrick J. Kenny is Senior Vice President of client relations for CQG. His responsibilities include business development and working with account management. He joined the firm in July 2010. Previously, Kenny had been with Patsystems, North America as an Officer and Managing Director for 10 years. Patrick has worked in the financial trading sector for more than 33 years. Before joining Patsystems, I held senior positions in institutional sales with Prudential Securities and ABN Amro. Patrick also worked in institutional sales at Geldermann and Harris Bank. Patrick Kenny has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1983 and currently a member of the CME Group. Patrick is also a Board member of the FIA IT Division. Patrick joined the board of advisors of OptionsCity on Feb. 22, 2010.

Matutu, Anelisa


Anelisa joined the JSE in 2008 in the commodity derivatives division under the flagship of the JSE Graduate program and now plays a leading role in running the commodity derivatives market. She holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. At the JSE, Anelisa is involved in the development of new products, technology delivery, market and client intelligence and operations in the Commodity derivatives Market.

Asadulla Kayumov


Chairman of the Board, Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX)
 
Asadulla Kayumov is the Chairman of the Board of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX), the leading commodity and electronic trading platform in Central Asia. He has over 18 years of professional experience in economic policy, exchange trading, competition regulation, public administration, and market development.
 
He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Uzbekistan with a degree in International Economic Relations and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Waseda University in Japan.
 
Throughout his career, he has held a number of senior leadership positions within the Government of Uzbekistan, including roles in the Presidential Administration and the national competition authorities. In these capacities, he played an active role in designing and implementing economic reforms, strengthening market institutions, improving the business environment, and advancing Uzbekistan’s economic modernization agenda.
 
From 2022 to 2025, he served as First Deputy Chairman of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, contributing to the advancement of competition policy, market liberalization, and consumer rights protection.
 
Since his appointment as Chairman of UZEX in April 2025, Asadulla Kayumov has been leading the transformation of Uzbekistan’s exchange market infrastructure. Under his leadership, UZEX has accelerated the implementation of modern exchange-traded instruments, including commodity derivatives, expanded digital trading services, strengthened international partnerships, and advanced the integration of Uzbekistan’s commodity markets with global trading and risk-management ecosystems.
 
Asadulla Kayumov is a strong advocate of market transparency, innovation, and international cooperation in exchange markets. He is fluent in Uzbek, English, Russian, and Japanese.

 

Sturgess, Chris


Chris Sturgess, previously an AFM Chairman from 2013 to 2018 joined the AFM Board in his capacity as Non-Executive Board Member of ACE Africa. ACE have been a long standing member of AFM, operating out of Malawi with the focus on developing the commodity exchange operations in this country. Chris has over 25 years’ experience in the commodity exchange arena having spent most of this time being part of a small team that developed the South African commodity derivatives market.

Kasza, Krisztina


Krisztina has been the Secretary of AFM since 2000. Prior to this she headed the Marketing Department of the Budapest Commodity Exchange.

Wu, Tzu-Hsin


Mr. Tzu-Hsin Wu Chairman, Taiwan Futures Exchange

Mr. Wu assumed Chairmanship of Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) on June 17, 2020. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Finance (MOF).

With 30 years’ dedication in the public sector, several positions Mr. Wu previously held included Director General of Taxation Administration, MOF and Director General of National Taxation Bureau of Taipei. During his service at the MOF, he has engaged in a series of tax reforms, including futures transaction tax, which helped to boost growth momentum of the futures market. He was also in charge of the management of government shareholdings and the supervision of corporate governance, as well as sustainable development of state-owned financial enterprises. In addition, he had served at the Fair Trade Commission and participated in formulating fair trade regulations and protection of customer rights.

Mr. Wu received both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Taxation from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

Mwiti, Frank


Frank Mwiti is the CEO of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), with 25-plus years of global experience in investment banking, capital markets and management consulting.

He has held senior roles at UBS, Deutsche Bank, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and EY (Ernst & Young).  He chairs and serves on several global and regional boards. and holds credentials from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), an LLB (Bachelor of Laws), and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

 

Fredriksson, Peter


Peter Fredriksson is Executive Director and founder of Baymarkets AS, acquired by the SIX Group in 2025, a Norwegian company providing systems for the financial markets, primarily for clearing houses and exchanges.

Peter leads the sales and marketing activities in his executive role.

Baymarkets has been active in the trading and clearing space since 2007, providing exchanges, clearing houses, banks and brokerages with trading and clearing systems to clients such as SIX (the Swiss Exchange), Oslo Bors, Singapore Exchange, UBS, TPICAP, and Cleartrade and to name a few.

Background:

Peter has an extensive background in financial technology with experience from the financial markets since 1987;

Broker with Dean Witter Reynolds (now owned by Morgan Stanley) in Toronto specializing in derivatives on fixed income and metals.

Founder of Risk Management Systems AB (RMS) which provided analysis systems and financial markets databases primarily to the Nordic financial market.
RMS had at the acquisition approximately 150 clients, which were the majority of the large cap companies in Sweden, Finland and Norway, all major banks in Sweden, several international banks in Europe, several fund managers, mortgage institutes, and brokerage firms.

RMS was acquired by the OMX Group, where Peter was Managing Director for OMX-RMS, managing RMS, and working with OMX business and product development. OMX is now part of Nasdaq.

Sales and Marketing Director at Cinnober, responsible for acquiring global key account clients like the London Metal Exchange, Nord Pool, Platts, CBOE and Euronext, and partly responsible for growing the company from 10 to 80 people.

CEO and co-founder of Cscreen Ltd, the leading platform for OTC trading of equity derivatives, which was sold to Euronext.liffe, now owned by Intercontinental Exchange-ICE, now called Quoteboard, and still the dominating platform globally for OTC equity derivatives.

Other board positions: Non-executive director of LeanOn AB in Sweden.

Within his various roles in the Financial Technology space Peter has been a speaker, moderator and panelist on several of the financial conferences around the world.

Peter has had various board roles in external companies like Mangold and Blick Möteskonsult, Co-chair of FIX Nordic, organizing the annual Nordic FIX conference.
